Thank you for choosing Macoavell as your textured wall specialist. We take pride in both our premium product and expert installation. This 5-Year Limited Warranty reflects our commitment to quality — while setting clear expectations to ensure long-lasting results.
Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, specifically:
- Peeling, bubbling, or flaking of the textured wall surface
- Major discoloration caused by material failure
- Installation-related issues caused by Macoavell’s team, when the wall was applied under suitable conditions
This warranty is valid only for indoor residential or light commercial walls, applied directly by Macoavell’s trained team and maintained under normal use.
Eligibility & Activation
To be eligible for the 5-Year Limited Warranty, the customer must:
- Submit a clear, timestamped photo of the completed Macoavell Textured Wall within 30 days of installation.
- Leave a public Google review for “Macoavell Malaysia” within the same 30-day period.
- Retain proof of purchase and original invoice.
Warranty becomes active only after all three steps are completed. Late submissions or missing steps may void coverage.
Warranty Period
- Valid for 5 years from the installation date.
- Applies to one-time application by Macoavell on approved indoor surfaces.
- Non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser and installation address.
Exclusions – Not Covered
Macoavell is not liable for the following:
- Damage caused by the customer after installation (e.g., scratches, impacts, abrasion)
- Water damage from plumbing leaks, roof leaks, high humidity, or condensation
- Use of unauthorized cleaning chemicals or abrasive tools
- Installation on walls that were:
- Not disclosed as damp, cracked, oily, or structurally compromised
- Later affected by settling, mold, or external damage
- Installation on walls that were:
- Normal aging or slight tone variation over time
- Requests based on subjective dissatisfaction with color, texture, or style after installation
- Reapplication due to renovation, remodeling, or customer-initiated changes
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To file a claim:
- Email [team@macoavell.com.my] with:
- Your invoice and installation address
- A description of the issue
- Photos clearly showing the problem
- Email [team@macoavell.com.my] with:
- Macoavell Malaysia will review the claim and may request an on-site inspection (fees may apply if the claim is not covered).
If your claim is approved, Macoavell may, at its discretion:
- Reapply or repair the affected area
- Offer replacement material (if applicable)
- Provide a partial refund of the original installation cost
Labor for any work done by third parties is not covered.
Limitations of Liability
- Macoavell’s total liability is limited to the original contract value.

What is the different between Vellwax Clear & Vellwax Metallic?
Vellwax Clear appear to be milky white in paste form, apply using trowel, cloth or sponge, once buff / polish it will turn clear. While Vellwax Metallic will add a metallic shine to your existing plaster wall, we have 15 metallic colors to choose from.
Where can I use Vellma - polished plaster?
Vellma is suitable for use on wall and ceilings, including curved surface such as archways and columns. It work beautifully on fireplace surrounds and feature wall.
Do I Need to use a primer before applying Vellma, Vellplas or Vellcco?
The finish adheres best to a porous substrate, it is best to use a layer of water based primer before applying Vellma, Vellplas or Vellcco.
How do I touch up ?
Touch up can be done by carefully work through the inside to outside of the affected area trying to minimize the patches area.
What is the drying time?
Lime based products, which include Vellma, Vellplas and Vellcco must rest 24 hours before applying additional coats.
What trowel do I need for application?
It is best to use a round edge stainless steel trowel as it will not scratch the wall surface.
After applying Vellma it does not shine?
The wall must be level 4 or 5 before applying Vellma, if there are imperfections on the walls, it must be repaired before applying Vellma. Burnishing at the right time before the burnish coating dry is critical, remember not to over burnish to prevent peeling. Using a proper round edged trowel is another great way to maximize the shine.
Polishing using Vellwax will increase the shines.”
Can I use other sealer to seal the plaster?
Yes, you may but it may change the appreance of the finished look.
Does Macoavell product expire or have a specific shelf life?
When stored properly, an unopened should have a shelf life of 2 years. The best storage is in a cool, dry area, away from extreme hot and cold temperatures. It should never be allowed to freeze and should be stored away from furnaces and other heat-generating appliances.
Can I use it in shower area?
We do not recommend to apply at direct shower area, it is ok to apply at powder room area.
Can I use it for exterior?
Vellma and Vellplas is for interior only while Vellcco can be use for both interior & exterior. If use at exterior, it is best to seal with VELLWAX or a sealer.
Is the product low VOC?
Yes, all MacoAvell products are low VOC.
How to maintain our product applicated wall?
Just clean it with a damp cloth to clean it. Re-wax every 3 to 5 years.
Is it DIY friendly?
Vellplas and Vellcco is more DIY friendly, wheras Vellma might need some training or skill especially on the burnish part.
Crack problem, help?
If cracks occur, it might because of few causes:
- internal wall cracks – if the internal wall cracks, it will definitely affect plaster layer to cracks.
- Too thick – it is apply too thick
- Drying time – if it was force to dry by blowing or cause by weather too hot. Plaster should give time to dry in a natural way.
Peel off problem, help?
Peeling normally will appear if surface preparation is not done properly, wall is too powdery or moist. Make sure wall is properly prepared before applying MacoAvell products.
What substrates are suitable for Vellma, Vellplas and Vellcco?
- A true, flat and even surface
- Gree from Dust and debris
- Free from movement
- Fully cured, free from damp
Acceptable substrates include:
Skimmed surfaces, painted walls in good condition, plywood, MDF Board.
Is Vellma, Vellplas and Vellcco waterproof?
How do you remove stains from texture wall?
Use a soft cloth with warm water and apply some mild liquid dish detergent in the center. Lightly buff it over the stains. Remove soap residue with another damp cloth if necessary.
Can your product handle mold problem?
Yes / Mold-resistant: due to its high pH, lime is a natural biocide.
Do you provide delivery service?
Yes, we cover whole Malaysia. Delivery fee varies.
How much of your delivery fee?
Our delivery fee is based on order volume, and area.
When will my order ship and how long until it arrives?

Can I change or cancel my order?
u may cancel the entire order within 45 minutes of placing the order. Individual items and orders completely or partially paid for with a gift card cannot be cancelled online and require contacting Online Customer Support by calling 1-888-877-2128. Once the 45-minute window has passed, the order cannot be cancelled. Online Customer Support can be reached by 1-888-877-2128 Monday – Sunday, 6a.m. – 2a.m. ET. Please have your original payment information available when calling to cancel your order. If it is too late to cancel your order, you may return any unwanted items in accordance with our returns policy.
What’s your return policy?
- If you are not satisfied with your purchase, bring the product and receipt back to the us within 30 days of purchase. Money will be refund.
- Application issues and improperly prepared surfaces, liquid stains, color samples, “OOPs” merchandise, special order, non-stock products, 3rd parties and marketplaces, labor and installation. We reserve the right to limit guarantee at our discretion in the event of suspected fraud or abuse.
What if my order is damaged?
